Happy when You Sad, Sad when You Happy
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008It’s a story about a king that want to feel sad, when he’s happy and to feel happy when he’s sad. All the wise men in that kingdom gathers in a meeting and agrees to make a simple gold ring for the king with a little saying engraved on it.
It says, “This will pass.”
When you are beaten and defeated, this will pass.
When you are victorious, this too will pass.
When you meet your lover for the first time and feel happy, this will pass.
When your heart is broken because your lover left, this too will pass.
You can use the ring only when you feel sad, and never to look at it when you’re happy, or you can keep yourself in balance by looking at that ring at both times.
It’s your choice.
