Does your onlife (online life) is a life?
It started with a sentence that looks good on this guy i saw at the mall. Life is what happens when you’re busy making plan. My mind instantly came up with several alternatives.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy blogging.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy blogwalking.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy play DOTA.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy plurking.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy YM-ing.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy youtubing.
- Life’s what happens when you’re busy facebooking.
And that brings the question, does your online life can be defined as life itself? When one’s could argue that there’s not much physical activity and “natural” human contact when you’re online, but it’s also a good life, right? You chat with friends, visit each other houses (read: blogs), and tell stories or hear good stories.
Your onlife is a good life, right?

ofcourse not, in online life, I cant dance, I cant hug, I cant kiss…
But yes you can save so much time and being multitasking in online life =)

hey, you can not say there’s no physical activity or human contact. contact isn’t always about meeting face-to-face. It is only about media. it even sometimes involving our emotion too.
But that doesn’t mean we may drown in this cyber thing, we need ‘real’ world with real people to communicate with.

Online life is good, but definitely not as good as real life. I don’t think you should let online life overtake your real life, unless your real life sucks : )

I don’t think it to be compared with ‘a real life’… yet it’s not a life either… as it is a part of life… it’s just the way we communicate to others..

I might spend a lot of time on the internet, But I also spent a lot of time with my hubby, with my daughter. Stopping at my parents for lunch, during the work day. I spend about 35-40 hours at work. I don’t want to mention the drive in the car. I might be doing my drops, and reading blogs, but I am also watching Star Wars with the hubby until the Cubs game is on. (7:05) WCIU channel 26. I log on to myspace every few days..why..my internet friend in California is meeting an old friend and wanted my advice.
I think for me, the internet is a welcomed addition to mi viva loca. I hate to say it, but I don’t have time to come home after work, make dinner, make lunches for tomorrow, and then go out with girlfriends that I have nothing in common with. I tried, and tried…but I couldn’t relate to Dr. Phil, and Oprah. I don’t put it down, but I can’t relate. Online is so much different. I have learned so much from everyone. We have a common bond. We share.

I am taking it this way.
Once i was stranded close to nowhere, cell phone off, blackberry off, and of course no internet connection, for 4 days. THAT WAS MY WORST TIME IN MY WHOLE LIFE. To live perfectly, happyly, we need ‘another life’. Digital life is a ‘life’ we can buy. (as long as the connection is available hehe)

hmmm… i call my onlife as my second life… katanya siy kalo seseorang menghabiskan 2 jam lebih di dunia internet, dia mulai mempunyai yang namanya second life itu… ya itu virtual life
well thats why i call my blog as my world too… cuz i go there when the real world is not enough anymore
