Money Can Buy (Almost) Everything
Remember this poem? The title is “What money can buy?”
A house but not a home. A bed but not a nice dream. A clock but not time. A book but not knowledge. Foods but not an appetite. Positions but not respect. Luxuries but not comforts. Blood but not life. Medicine but not health. Insurance but not safety. Sex but not love.

I honestly believe that money isn’t everything, but I never win an argument with people that said, “Yeah, but everything needs money!” What should i do? Recite the poem again? For every 1000 nouns in English Dictionary, maybe only 1 noun that can’t be bought by money. Time is the most commonly used noun and you can’t buy time to add your day to 28 hours.
Maybe you should own some money, but don’t let money own you and forget the essentials like respect, manner, and love.

It is very easy to get caught up in a capitalistic way of life & thinking when it comes to money because it yields such power in modern societies.
The best thing I find is to find the job you enjoy, be mindful with the money you have and not to over-indulge. Money should never become the driving force of your own life.
