If you want to convert any currency to Indonesia Dollar Rupiah (IDR) you can use simple Google search. Example

50000 JPY in IDR

You can do it both ways.

100000 IDR in EUR

And if you want to have another measurement and calculate it to IDR, such as BBM Price per Litre :

123 USD per Barrel in IDR per Litre

It’s a lot quicker way than to run Calculator on your Desktop, but I wonder where Google defines his Currency Rates.

How Much is The Price of Patience Nowadays? [Inspiration]

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Having read this post, I can’t help wonder, how much is patience really worth nowadays. We know people getting more and more impatient everyday. You see people using more horns when driving and less brakes. You see more and more people cursing when they wait in line, blaming themselves for not getting to the front row quick enough. When people said something that hurt your feeling, you react immediately. You don’t pause and take a deep breath, you just want to retaliate. Why?

  1. Time. Modern people is a paradox. Their lives is easier to maintain (you don’t need to bake for two hours just to eat bread), but eventually they complain that they didn’t have enough time to do everything that they want. That’s why they want to get somewhere as quickly as they can, do everything as fast as they can, and eventually get result as good as they can. Patience? We don’t have time for it.
  2. Money. Everything need money, or so people say. We already wasting some amount of our time to earn money. We need money to make our lives easier. Why? Because we need more time to do everything else. Does patience going to give us more time? No? Then i don’t need patience. Give me more money.
  3. Ego. I have a big ego. I need my ego to feel good about myself. People who hurt my ego will have to pay the price. Big time.

Patience is a luxury in this fast, fast world.
